I started at Texas State in the fall of 2014 as an undergrad in GIScience, transferring from Lee College in Baytown, TX where I obtained my Associate's in GIS. I initially got involved with SOGIS by becoming the webmaster in the fall of 2014, then moved to vice president, then to my current position as president. I really appreciate the opportunities this organization has opened up for me and I will continue give back any way I know how.
When I get the chance, I enjoy woodworking, binge-watching Netflix, and spending time with my small circle of good friends. I have a wonderful wife and four-year-old son which I never would have gotten this far without. I look forward to my next few years at Texas State and my time here in San Marcos.
